Animal Treasure Hunt

I used this hunt for my son's 8th birthday party and it was a hit. I split the hunt in half and had 2 groups. I put a blue star on each clue from one group and a red star on each clue for the other group. This way, if the children were confused, they did not take a clue that belonged to the other team. I stressed to the children that each group had different clues so it was not a race. I taped the clues to the walls of 3 rooms upstairs, 3 rooms downstairs as well as the hallway. The kids had a lot of fun figuring out each animal and then finding it. At the end, the children had to count to make sure they had 15 clues and then put them in order.

10 Objects Scavenger Hunt

Directions for hunters:
There are 10 crayons attached to 10 objects. Find them and use the crayon to make an X next to the beginning letter of the object.

Directions for Parents:
This is an easy hunt for parties. Each child can have their own sheet of paper or they can work in groups. There are 2 possible ways to run this hunt.

1. Using tape, attach a crayon to each object. Hide the objects around the house. When children find an object, they must use the crayon to mark an X next to the corresponding first letter.
2. Stickers are an alternative to crayons. Place a different sheet of stickers on each object. When children find the object they take a sticker and place it next to the first letter of the object.
